Oh my goodness I get from here on the Florida national religious broadcasters convention.

I'm very excited about his interview that I have in front of me now is redoing NRB Chronicles 2022.

So we have an author, Aaron Taylor, but parents book.

It's got a very compelling title as it turned to grab because it says do you love me. There is a great big?

The three choices you would think it's either yes or not when you were a little kid first second grade I fell in love for the first time thought it was love and wrote a little note to a girl and said you love me.

Yes no.that's a lot of commitment made and I put a Navy on their and did she say maybe she said I love them so yes and no babies but you know worked for me a call. I mean is that cool have God like reminds us of those original places where hearts were tender and were looking for acceptance of it. There were so many things man that I can remember when I was little and the instrument would live in getting this first taste of what that feels like.

And so you know anybody that looks at this title is given, go back to that note because it is exactly what it looks like right answer. Take a stare. How did play on words from when John 21 Jesus said to Peter, Jesus responds to them and says you know I love you and I hate it when people use Greek and Hebrew terms and then defined in this case you have to because Jesus didn't say you love me send you a copy and Peter didn't say I love you.

We set I flailed while the difference is unconditional love versus brotherly love, Philadelphia. If you're good to be in Christ else. I would let you mind if you go into that.

It's a great thing really the basis of the book, which allows us to look at love, and so many different ways studied this passage recently and I do study, but I also know a little about the Greek care because it's a classic study of right you got three different you know for different but in the case of Hebrew. There's just one just one and however from my perspective it. If you have a brother in and you're a Jew their culture right that to Peter what he saw was Jonathan and David work where their souls were united and so it wasn't like Peter saying we know it, like it wasn't that he was saying man like we are brother like we are yet do you love me and he wasn't understanding Jesus is where Jesus was going.

I think what really ready for this. I so what is the best definition is a Greek term of the best definition of God's kind of love is what I lay down his life for a friend right what he taught about love. So do you unconditionally love God. I know this is a lot to ask you a believer, I think you you love God how many people would raise her hand.

I unconditionally I agape love the I don't think Peter's doing it because I deny Jesus, I don't think he's doing it because, well, I'm not quite sure. Try this for size. If you love God you unconditionally love did you loving first now looking for a mate.

There's other did you love him when he denied you spit on you didn't care about you, you still love Jesus Okay but still, if God so did you love God, when he had nothing to offer you all and you had no expectations.

Nothing to get you know because he did so. I have a question for you.

Is it possible that what Peter heard when he heard you love me unconditionally with the kind of love I taught my whole ministry and Peter went. I can't know I can brotherly I can love you like and then what are the next works.

It is believed Peter with a hopeless inability to love him no, not at all.

He showed them how to he said go feed my sheep go find somebody to love first. Wait for them to come to you.

Go find somebody who doesn't deserve your love you love me go find somebody who can give you absolutely nothing and show them love that that's what I believe that interaction primarily is Peter yes loving Jesus, not knowing how to answer that question in Jesus showing how true love that brings III see what yeah I get there now follows what happened afterwards right like he's going to help you. I like why the point that like oh yeah you are like oh yeah you are right that's going to take a love that is a fruit. Agape love is roots of the Holy Spirit right it's not just a love. It's not arrows it's not brotherly love and yet we love our mate.

Another part of this. We love our mate how well brotherly, my wife, she makes me dinner.

She meets my expectations. When she fulfills all the needs I have more good that is not what Jesus asked. He said you agape like I church, love your wife.

That's a whole different story. When she's not my expectations. After the lowered are you kidding me. And so it begins a look at love different you look at love, work, Jesus is fine were the branches we produce love. Greatest of all these and so what I producing fruit for people to come and just eat what I think I do for me. I don't get that from the great reservoir of Jesus. When I start getting what I need from Christ. I came again without worrying about it running so that's the basics very basic/lightweight, hugely illuminating, because I interesting manner. A pastor not long ago who talked all about that very idea that the fruits of the spirit are not like oh I'm in a go. 11 so I it's not like that that that you have to tend the garden weeds out got up to be fed the work you gotta abide to get all the stuff and then as a fruit then you get for long-suffering fine.

All that then you get this and so what you're talking about God track with that because I'm like okay 3000 feed my sheep. Take care my lambs is giving him a practical way to live.

Send his garden in that it would bear fruit and then what is the greatest of all is all these things we do we do, as unto the Lord.

For the purposes and if I get I'm not judging. I turn my wife into God.

I needed the things I needed. I wanted her to supply and she being the most wonderful woman in the world doesn't still measure up to God. My friends don't and so I'm crying out right now I'm trying out my stop, my soul is crying out to love me, do you really care because you're not meeting my needs and try to tap into the what God is doing to flow the also causes my branches to grow and I get I get strength I have for wow what what tremendous tremendous insight again.

The book is do you love me baby experiencing and extending tremendous love by Aaron Taylor so while who's Aaron Taylor. Well let me tell you one more thing. Okay then I'll tell you why. One of the chapters just to get wet your whistle. I wet my whistles. Where is the chapter says how to destroy that wreck. A good church you know that's exactly what happened. I started out ministry so II was born because of I know what to say at this my dad right 15-year-old pushes way to the house right. My mom, I was given up for adoption and you know I stopped into a family were God allowed me to grow 12 years old will digest version 12 years old I preached my first sermon is called Holy Spirit that my first sexual relationship with an older woman got drunk for the first time I had custom first time to drive after the first at 12 years old. There was a weighing in the balance of trying God trying to reach me in becoming our heart against I say that to say that God stored and help walk you through a lot of rejection a lot of a lot of pain in the answer. Trying to get people to love you had had to get resolved. It took it took not only my high school years.

It didn't only take coming to Jesus didn't take just knowing and walking with Jesus. It took years when one finally I realized that God loves genuinely don't appreciate that Pamela displayed when you display realize what it takes to love somebody, not for what they give you because God loves them so we would like this because it wrecked our church went from having millionaires in my church and Fulton to take love to love people from an arms distance which we draw out 11 from a long ways away. We had great ministries to feed the homeless in clothing and help them in one God, one day God just said you journey with you. Don't walk with you. Don't get down in the mud and lift them up to reach out, but you don't embrace and where to find so we wrecked our church. We started inviting in the homeless, not hoping they can't not allowing them to come but compelling them to come, we began to encourager people find somebody that broken BC someone along the street. Don't give them food you go take them somewhere and talk with you listed the friendship we started feeding right out of our church on a Sunday morning Thursday night now to celebrate recovery.

A Sunday morning and said come to church with us and it lost a lot of pain, love of God demonstrated to her people as discipling in loving others and it's been the best journey financially was a tough yeah and you know what God has unknowingly provided in unique ways because because they didn't have 10 loving yeah I get it pending before so Aaron Taylor is a pastor and of the church where Eugene Oregon yellow Cozad right God's country.

With every liberal in the world of the convention between Portland and Eugene all the time, but interestingly I might cut my radio shows on in Portland and I have some of the best blisters that I have great place to live. It's difficult moment you know that all the Christian seem to be leaving us, I mean I can. I cannot start to count how many people moved to Tennessee, Texas, Florida, Montana, Idaho, Mike could anybody stay here. We just let this part. No. But you know what, I'm still there were still going, preached Jesus, thank goodness right and plan our God gave like I am just so thrilled at what God me know.

It's just never cease to blow me away that I've been really thinking a lot about that past actually do a Bible study in my neighborhood and I'm I'm involved in a lot of different things, but in my actual neighborhood with my neighbors, where we just like two weeks ago were right here study in this very thing and and and broke out in this large discussion in this one person was able Peter to Sam a lot like you, man. It was like you.

It was as morally mad, but this brings a new light that to wear and I always had the sense that Jesus was calling them to something that was more than just restoring him I know is rendering him, but he was really calling him and and now I see the relationship right you say will wait know when to do it under the least of these brother and again it's not my relationship with God gets better.

It's like it's like when you don't have kids you think you know about it and you have kids you know that's what happened and that's with that, love that's Georgia that's with that kind of love is you don't know what you think you know it you do it you know, and loving others. Once you love like Christ you have bonded with him like were so high. I teach special needs at my church for story along these lines is that I was invited to teach the larger Sunday school class of what you had about 150 people, and without checking with my wife.

I immediately thought well yeah that's me and and so they immediately they were so excited about it.

They went and voted the church. I was the teacher before my wife doing about as I go to my wife and I was like Tammy. This was 22 years Tammy good news where now the teachers of Hampton's request on what me know when she goes no I really feel I God's called me that were going to teach special needs. We have no special needs our family.

I have no connection with light and this is how arrogant. Thanks, Rob is better than peers are that I was a honey what all this on the believable Bible knowledge that I have a eyecatcher with those people, it's a total waste. She afflicted me like having a wife like are you ridiculous or what, I mean that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard like we are. This is what were doing. I'm telling us what we don't have this man's I go to meet with them as well as geysers of old missionary, feels like 30 years. Whatever. And I'm Telamon my story think they're going to totally go with me right and that like there and about with me on this. This is a no-brainer and they like and Archie looks at me on the last day.

He says that you know Robbie on the least of these my brother and I was like Utah dog like an and so I'm like okay so I lay down the ham Sunday school class I go to this class right and I I come for like three weeks and these people are like punching the air and that these are adults, so there and there 30s 40s 50s from a modem and I'm just like freaked out like I don't know what like about the third week the teacher of the class. As you know Robbie, I hear your pretty good teacher next week teach on the fifth commandment know what you think about there then I'm like what that I can teach my own kids. The fifth commandment to teach well right sorry I father my mother so I like so I start the week. Okay God how to how in the world like teach because I had to.

He had me right where he wanted me like there's no way in the world. I know how to take and he said Robbie had the honor and so he said you have just show it just as simple as it can get this make it simple so I go to class that they and I teach this thing. I got a front final draft was a mother and a father, and I do everything I can because I really don't have a clue and this and other looking out the window there doing anything but looking at me and I am certain that I've done absolutely nothing for an hour long class tell a parent show on the parent show up just what happened to get down any parents go with this relatively teacher said Robbie teach from honor by father than the tears like their kids learn something from them and like oh my gosh and what happened, I would've told you.

God taught me what you know like right right and and so when you say because I went in there that think and I got no right but that is in it at all because it is that like man God will show you stuff one of the things in the book I talk about this reservoir. Love because people as were about burnout or site when we tap into this reservoir 11 related medical pack. My needs are met, that God is there unending flow of his love and acceptance from it. Change forgiveness to change all that and what you're talking about. I think pastors I'm I'm guilty of it and we take a subject like this really this is a simple yet it's really deep and complex is exactly what Jesus does in his word he takes these really intellectual, really deep subjects in the next and simplest to these fishermen and to the prostitute and the tax collector, and he shares the gospel in such a simple way I think gloves overlooked. We know now what it's supposed to be, but were disconnected with disabled people good for you. They showed you how able that you got. I start to realize basic much more respect what happens when I share the simple things and you know it's really the simple ones that hear the word and they don't have so much baggage they respond to it and it brings yeah I does and for me to take this how great God is in people to share that with some seems so much bigger than life so much more than I can share and then you look at them anything. I've been pastoring forever, and I've traveled all over the world.

Africa Philippine held little babies that are dying and you start realizing I don't feel that is really we preach, try to make us tell us sound good will I get it in this book to me changed everything.

When I share simplest love might be what I say might be willing to my just showing respect to somebody who has earned it because you know what got her right guttered my life so they don't have to God is forgiving. I forgive others only because one of the things and share all but one of the things I share in this book and you talked about groups, we wrote it so that you could read individually, but I also notice that you could get together as a church group and answer some questions after each chapter so that as church groups get together and study through this.

We sell in bulk on our website.

My we sell it so that church groups can you get 1015 give him a big discount say hey you do it together grow together as a community, but I my wife.

I was your faithful to me not faithful you will stay together right like it was some kind of threat like as long as you never cheat on me were okay right long as you pull your weight were okay is not unconditional love. You say well, but the church to write for divorce and you know if there's infidelity yet because we can't forget that we can with grace of God and look at this person I went to my wife. God laid this on one day just Aaron. He's been unfaithful to I forget I have a life where I have no reason, I have the best wife in the world, mainly because she's doing the same thing on to love Jesus and let him look like. What makes it a lot easier when it starts to happen, but I gotta say this, I went to her and I said if you cheat on me in the future or if you have I want you know to work through the middle of the ocean. She's like words that come in because I've been unfaithful to Jesus more times and I want to count and I want him to forget, and I want him to love me and it brings up the story of the prodigal son came back to the ring in a row shoes and a steak dinner and a stick to know about the no shoes allowed him to not be a servant and not be a slave though shoes gauging the ability to walk away, you're not in true relationship until you give the power for somebody to walk away from.

If they don't have the power to not let me to reject you, then wow that's having now I realize I was trying to hold my wife to a law instead of giving her shoes and saying I love you, love you no way you'll never want to walk away.

I got a call from this summer read the book this man reads a book he calls me says pastor says my wife cheated on. I left I moved I was going to fight for my kids. I hired a diverse divorce attorney I was done and I read your book I went home and asked my wife back in.

I told her not only not only have I forgiven her and told her that I told her I was struggling in order to masturbation. I was a big husband just I was in master. He said changed our whole love once I let God love. I learned how to love someone else about off last powerful well we got it again.

The book is do you love me yes no maybe experiencing and extending tremendous love Byron Taylor and again your website is my or you can go to Amazon and just put the love you pop right up Taylor awesome thank you so much. Great talking to you and yours well
